I began my career at Tencent in 2006 as an Interaction Designer, spending an incredible 15 years there. I eventually progressed to Senior Design Director, where I led the D2 Design Studio. During this time, I helped create and scale 10+ major B2C and B2B products, including Tencent Security, Tencent Healthcare, QQ Video, QQ Browser, and Tencent Input Method—each reaching 100+ million Daily Active Users (DAU).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led design for Tencent Healthcare, building large-scale online medical services for remote appointments and consultations. These solutions enabled hundreds of millions of people to stay connected with doctors during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.

In 2021, I joined ByteDance as Vice President of Product Design, reporting directly to the CEO of Lark (ByteDance CEO -2). I led UX, UI, Branding, User Research, and Technical Art teams, driving the transformation of Lark from an internal productivity tool into a commercial, global enterprise collaboration SaaS.
This effort delivered:

• Record-high user satisfaction score of 4.8

• Adoption across 125+ countries and 50+ industries

• Brand NPS of 92

• Successful achievement of a $100M global ARR milestone

In 2023, I became the Founding Designer of Wanderboat AI, where I built the product end-to-end, from brand identity to AI chat UX. The product grew to 4 million monthly active users within 8 months.

Currently, at Shanda Group, I oversee UX strategy at the group level and have recently led the launch of several key products, including Tanka, Discoverative.ai, Evermind.ai (open-source LLM), and the Chen Institute website, focused on human brain research.
